Use of definite article (the)
Use of “The”-in proper noun:
General rules: Proper noun - usually there is no article before it.
For example: Jannatul lives in Dhaka.
Explanation: here “Jannatul” and “Dhaka” are proper nouns. So, they don’t have “The” before them.
Exceptions to the general rule : There are some exceptions to the above general rule. In some cases “The” is placed before the proper noun.
Exception(1): “The” precedes the name of all single things, that is, the terms of things that do not have a second.

- The sky is blue.

Exception (3): The precedes the name of a place, country, or organization with special meaning.
